Coalition forces shoot down a “march” aircraft fired by the Houthis from Sanaa towards Saudi Arabia

Coalition forces in Yemen on Tuesday intercepted and shot down a drone fired by an Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia from Sanaa to civilian objects in Khamis Mushayt, Saudi Arabia.

“The coalition supports the legitimacy of Yemen,” Colonel Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the coalition forces, was quoted as saying by the official SPA news agency.

Attempts by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia to launch ballistic missiles and drones are doomed to failure, pointing out that the coalition is taking all operational procedures and best practices of engagement rules to deal with these aircraft to protect civilians.
