UAE provides $ 15 million to UN Women


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a financial contribution of US $ 15 million to support UN-Women over the next three years as part of the country’s commitment to continue to support UN-Women.

The announcement came on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.

The new pledge comes in the context of strengthening the partnership with UN-Women. Gender and women’s empowerment, including through the UN-Women liaison office in Abu Dhabi.
