The Bangkok Post and The Nation reported that Phuwiang Prakhammin, the head of the Thai Meteorological Agency, announced yesterday that it will be the cool season in Thailand from October 17 to February next year. The average temperature in Thailand is expected. It is between 20 and 21 degrees Celsius, lower than last year’s 21.9 degrees.

The northeastern part of Thailand has been hit by a severe flood. Puweiyang said that after entering the cool season, rainfall in northern Thailand will slow down, but the rain in the south will continue.

Puweyan said that the temperatures in Chiang Rai, Nan, Nakhon Phanom and Sakol Nakhon in the north and northeast will be lower than in previous years. At around 7 to 8 degrees, the Greater Bangkok area may even be 15 to 17 degrees; frost formation may occur in the mountains.
