The United Arab Emirates, represented by its humanitarian arm, the UAE Red Crescent Authority, has provided new quantities of medicines and laboratory solutions to three medical centers in Hodeidah governorate as part of the rapid response program and the continuous support of the health sector in the west coast of Yemen. .
These medical assistance included Al-Matina Center in Al-Tahita Directorate and Al-Taif and Al-Shujira Centers in Al-Duraihmi Directorate. The three centers that the UAE has rushed through the Red Crescent Authority to restore and rehabilitate them, provide them with medical supplies and provide medical staff salaries to ensure the provision of free services to Yemeni citizens along the west coast of Yemen .
Dr. Abdulaziz Munsir, Deputy Director of the Health Bureau in Hodeidah, praised the UAE’s generous and thoughtful support for the health sector on the west coast of Yemen, stressing that it has achieved its desired goals in providing free medical services to Yemeni citizens and alleviating the suffering of them under the exceptional circumstances experienced by Yemen and its people.
“We have received new batches of medicines and laboratory solutions for three medical centers in accordance with the needs of each of the items and quantities required,” Munsar said while attending the handover with the Red Crescent medical team.
He conveyed the leadership of the health sector and its staff in the Hodeidah governorate to the United Arab Emirates and its approach on the humanitarian level in Yemen and its white hands that have left their impact in every corner of the west coast of Yemen in particular and Yemen in general.
For their part, the directors of the three medical centers confirmed that the continuous support of the UAE has enabled the centers to receive dozens of cases daily, expressing thanks to the UAE, which has never hesitated to stand by the Yemeni people.
